Sleep Apnea Treatment in the Frenchtown & Missoula, MT area

At Frenchtown Dental we know that many whole body conditions are affected by what happens in the mouth. We strive to help our patients improve their overall health. With this in mind we offer treatment for Sleep Apnea.

Sleep Apnea is a life threatening condition in which a person briefly stops breathing or is unable to breath enough air while sleeping. This lack of air causes the person to wake slightly, generally not enough to be aware that they’ve woken but enough to disrupt their sleep pattern and lead to not being properly rested.

As dentists we are able to help treat this condition by making custom oral appliances that help open the airway.

Sleep apnea appliances

Frenchtown Dental offers a variety of custom appliances to treat obstructive sleep apnea. While CPAP or continuous positive airway pressure machines are the first line of defense recommended by many sleep physicians some patients have difficulty tolerating them. A custom oral appliance is a great option for those people who cannot tolerate CPAP, or who have mild to moderate sleep apnea.

Our Sleep Apnea Patients

Many of our sleep apnea patients come to us referred by their primary care or sleep physician. We will perform a complete examination and determine how to help you with an oral appliance.

All of our new patients are screened for the possibility of a sleep condition. We work closely with your physician to help you receive the best care for you.
